Above the rooftops of San Candido, with views of the bell towers and Mount San Candido, our panoramic terrace hosts a rooftop spa designed for pure relaxation, complete with saunas and tranquil lounging areas. Discover an elixir of relaxation, regeneration and inspiration.

Enjoy the harmony of linear and elegant architectural contours, local crafts paired with state of the art technology. In summer, our panoramic terrace is a recreational retreat, pleasantly cool and quiet.

Services included for our guests

Our rooftop spa is accessible for free all days of the week from 4:30 PM to 7:30 PM guests are welcome to access the facilities outside these hours upon request, free of charge.

Sauna: a relaxing ritual

A traditional Finnish sauna, a bio-sauna and Turkish bath as gentle alternatives, and a reflexology foot massage path. Enjoy a landscape view and rest in our comfortable relaxation room after your sauna session and during breaks.

German Design Award 2020

Our wellness area was awarded the 2020 German Design Award in Frankfurt. Entirely redesigned in 2018, the rooftop terrace was added as a recreational retreat that is cool and quiet.

The Boutique & Gourmet Hotel Orso Grigio received an award in the “Excellent Architecture – Interior Architecture” category for its exceptional project design.

Yes. Orso Grigio features a Rooftop Spa above the rooftops of San Candido. It is an elegant, intentionally compact wellness area with views of the Dolomites, designed as a place to unwind after an active day.

What makes the Rooftop Spa at Orso Grigio special?

The Rooftop Spa stands out through its unique location above the rooftops of San Candido and its clear architectural design. On the rooftop terrace, reduced forms, local craftsmanship and natural materials come together to create a harmonious overall concept. For its interior design, it was awarded the German Design Award in 2020.

What saunas are available at Orso Grigio?

The wellness area – the Rooftop Spa – includes a Finnish sauna, a hay sauna and a steam bath. These are complemented by a pebble path and a relaxation room overlooking the rooftops of San Candido.

Is the wellness area included in the stay?

Yes. Access to the Rooftop Spa is reserved exclusively for hotel guests and is included in the stay. The wellness area is open daily from 16:30 to 19:30; other times are available on request.

Is the wellness area at Orso Grigio a large spa?

No. The wellness area is intentionally compact and architecturally clear. It offers a quiet and refined setting for relaxation – not an extensive spa, but a high-quality retreat above the rooftops.
