Our rooms are classified according to 4 “bear” categories:

More bears equal greater comfort. All rooms feature an en-suite bathroom, telephone, satellite TV, Wifi connection, hairdryer and room safe (minibar upon request and at no extra charge). They all provide beautiful views overlooking historic monuments, the Baranci mountain range and Mt. Elmo. The furnishings reflect the bygone days with flair, encompassing Biedermeier and modern design. Every room is defined by its charm and sense of intimacy.

Each room at the Orso Grigio is unique, with its own charm and character. The images shown are therefore for reference and may differ slightly. Rates are indicative and may vary according to season, availability, and booking period.

Cancellation policy

For stays from 29.05. -26.09.2026 | 04.12.2026 – 29.03.2027

  • Up to 2 weeks before arrival a free cancellation is possible at any time
  • Up to 1 week before arrival we charge 40% of the accommodation price
  • Cancellations 6 days or less before arrival we charged 80% of the accommodation price

Any deposits made are non-refundable and, in case of cancellations up to 2 weeks before arrival, will be credited for another stay valid for one year.

For stays from 27.09. – 31.10.2026 | 30.04. – 28.05.2027

  • Free cancellation is possible up to 3 days before arrival.
  • Any deposits made are non-refundable and will be credited for another stay valid for one year.

Unexpected events can always occur – that’s why we recommend taking out travel insurance.

Booking conditions
  • Your booking is legally binding once we have received your written confirmation.
  • If your arrival is delayed or in case of early departure, we will charge you for the entire length of the confirmed stay.
  • All bookings must be confirmed by paying a deposit of 30% of the total amount.

Terms and conditions
  • Prices do not include local tourism levy of €4.00 per night per person (aged 14 or above). 
  • Discounts and reductions cannot be cumulated with other offers.
  • The prices are per person per day in a double room or single room.
  • Single occupancy surcharge for a double room available on request.
Domestic animals
  • Pets (max. 40 kg) are allowed upon request (excluded: 10.08. – 31.08. and 24.12. – 06.01.). We charge a fee of € 30.00 without food. Animals are not allowed in communal areas. In case of unauthorized accompaniment, we will charge € 40.00.
Service hours
    • Breakfast: from 7:30 to 10:30 AM
    • Lunch in our Bistro: from 12:00 to 2:30 PM
    • Dinner: from 7:30 to 9:00 PM

    From September 27th to November 1st 2026 and April 30th to May 28th we offer breakfast only.

    Arrival and departure
    • Rooms are available for check-in starting at 2:00 PM.
    • Please vacate your room by 10:30 AM on your day of departure. You may, of course, still use hotel facilities until you depart. If available, you may request a late check-out for an extra charge.

    No. Each room is individually designed, ranging from classic styles to more contemporary interpretations, always with a strong attention to detail.

    Rooms are divided into categories marked by the number of “bears”, indicating size and level of comfort.

    Are there barrier-free rooms?

    Yes, barrier-free rooms are available. We recommend mentioning your requirements when booking.

    How much does a room cost?

    Rates vary depending on category, season and length of stay. Up-to-date prices are available online.
